View Full Version : Age Claims?

This is a delicate question, but I was curious to hear some other opinions.

The background: I saw an SP recently who advertised as 30. She "admitted" to being 31 once in person, after I told her I was 30. In my opinion, she was in her late 30's, if not 40. If I had known this, I would not have booked, since I prefer the 27-30 age range. In the past, I am sure I have been fooled by a 34 year old who looked younger - and I didn't mind at the time, but when things are more obvious, it is a bit annoying.

What's an acceptable fudge factor? A few years one way or the other shouldn't matter, but there should be some truth in advertising. I have seen several ads on escort sites that haven't changed at all in the 3 years I have been in the hobby, but the lady is 3 years older.

I am not asking to be a smartass, I'd like some opinions.

As a general rule of thumb, when a SP states her age as x, I normally go with x+5. And even then, I have occasionally under estimated.

This reminds me of a radio talk show I listened to the other day. The upshot was the reason we think 30 is old is because of all the 40 year-olds passing themselves off as 30. We don't know what a real 30 year-old looks like because they are all claiming to be 24. And it's really amazing how many women are 19 for 5 years.

And i once saw a survey somewhere that said something like 73% of all people think they look younger than their age. If only it were possible.

Was she an independent SP or an agency SP. I think agency SPs describe the age fairly closely. There might be a fudge factor with an independent SP.

Isn't that kind of unfair to those of us who don't lie?:)

Yes, it probably is unfair. However my personal preference is for someone in their late 20s to mid 30s, so someone claiming to be 25 is usually a good bet. In the end, age is not really what matters, it is presence and health. There are women in their mid 30s that are knockouts and 20 year-olds I wouldn't look at twice. A poor attitude can also make attractive wrapping look plain in a hurry.

I,m naive! I believe them all! Oh! Except my worst mistake, Kimberly Star! She was evidently 30 to 35 years older than stated!
If you look them all right in "THE EYE", they all look the same age! Amazing!

As an aside, my daddy told me when I was young boy, when you turn women upside down they all look like piggy banks
It took until I was 16 to start saving!

I think that SP's should be honest about their age.. i I would not be very happy if I had bought a car and found out that the odometer had been rolled back.

I like to get what I pay for... If that is sex with a 20 year old then I do not want to be defrauded out of my money by an older woman who obviosly feels that she would not have as many customers if she were honest about her age.

This is possible for a lot of asians. I, myself, am 36 but many of my students(Japanese) think I'm around 28 AND they are not being nice or anything because they often guess my colleague's age (he's 27 and caucasian) as being 38-45.

In university I know that all my Japanese students are 19-20 yrs old but at my conversational school job I have a hard telling how old they are. I've seen girls that are 25, 26 look 16. This is true in almost all of asia.

ok. this is what terb is for: if an SP totally lies in her description of herself either about the services provided or about her appearance or any other material fact then tell terb.

even if this SP says she does not "allow" reviews i think it's appropriate to comment on whether her advertising is honest or deceptive. if reviews aren't allowed then don't tell us details, but certainly i think you can post a "she is as she described" or a "she lied about her age and weight--she is at least 10 years and 50lbs more than she says"

I know a woman that always tells people that she is 8 years older then she really is so they will say how good she looks for her age

it says I'm good dog when I'm really big dogie wz up with that?

This is politically incorrect but it is a fact that many Asians men and women look younger than they really are. And because of that, they don't need that much of plastic surgery like botox or lipo or what not to keep their youthful looking.

As an off topic, if an Asian guy fall in love with a Caucasian woman and she happens to be an "egg" and love you in return, the guy must be mentally prepared that she may not look and be a good shape as her Asian counterparts by the time she is in mid-30s. That's a big trade off to date white hottie at very young age and "regret" by early 40s.

Of course you probably won't mind if you really love her so much that this is basically a non-issue.

Actually in my experience, the age description as advertised has been fairly accurate (within 1-3 years).

Definitely the #1 stat that is falsely advertised is weight, followed by measurements.

Once an sp reaches the age of about 24-25, there becomes an industry pressure to start understating one's age. Stupidly, we guys seem to book the young ones first, so truth in advertising goes out the window in favor of earning income.

ok this is easy.....

You take the claimed age, add five years, multiply by the age you actually think she is, then divide by the years in the business.

Or just assume that whatever the number add 10.
