I can't imagine why it would be considered illegal to discuss what goes on in other countries. First of all, I would think it falls under the Constitutional right of freedom of expression. (I'm pre-supposing that the comments will be in good taste etc.)
In practical terms though, we've seen postings here and on other boards (ERmail for example) where someone will comment, "When I was in XXX I saw _____ and wow was it ever _______!" We post all the time about our Canadian and the occasional US experience; why would some other country be any different?
Broadly speaking, it's probably illegal in Canada to ban women from going to school, but by now we've all heard about the (former) rule of the Taliban. Our media will (almost) freely discuss anything that's illegal here but goes on in other places. So I think it's fair to say there's some sort of precedence here.
IMHO of couse.

Prostitution is obviously not legal in NY. If you wish to engage in such activity both you and the sex provider may have some criminal liability, as you might have assumed.
However, if you wish to discuss your own activities regarding a certain lady, then you are not putting the lady directly at risk. In NY a co-defendant's statements cannot be used as evidence against you. However, this only applies when both parties are charged defendants. And keep in mind that the providers you may wish to discuss will probably not appreciate the attention.
I can't speak for other countries.

I would think the NYPD -- even the morality squad -- are too busy these days to monitor this board. In any case, who can afford US$ denominated SPs?
Happy New Year to all,
