I'll call the Leafs to play like they did in their first home game, and win with a similar score - 4-1.
I see the trash talking is ratcheting up, mostly from the Flyers. Should make for an interesting game. ;)
Jonsson back on D, Kapanen up front where he belongs. This should at least help their PP.

Jonsson going to get hit hard and often, a broken hand doesn't heal that quick. the Leafs need to play the same game as Wednesday. If Belak and Mccabe stay out of the box, it should be in the bag.

No game is ever "in the bag". Philly didn't get where they are by rolling over for anyone.

Flyers 2-1.
Cardinal Fang

Leafs 3-0
I'll leave it to the pros to decide who "out played" who.

I think this is going to be a long hard physical game, don't be surprised if this game goes into triple overtime, but the Leafs will prevail 3-2

Flyers storm back and take it 4-2.
Watch them hit this game. They have been awoken from their slumber

Fang - it's obvious - whoever wins has outplayed the other team.
Don't sweat the small stuff - it really isn't that interesting.
And brualex? From the looks of it, the LEAFS have awoken, no? Or are you just predicting stuff for game four? ;)

To me looks like it may go into the second or 3rd overtime and the Leafs will previal 2-1!
It's gonna a physical game with scoring chances at both ends. Leafs will be in the drivers seat after this game and will have confidence they can win game 5 in philly on Sunday!

I am wondering if the game will live up to all the Hype? We'll see!

Actually I find the whole series to be a dud, especially when you compare it to last years. Now in the West with Calgary, that is some interesting hockey being played.

I lean toward a low scoring game 2-1,alot of hits,as Keith Jones said on Comcast Flyers need to win this one if theres a chance for the cup.tampa Bay sitting home resting.Toronto way out hit Flyers last game.Hitch is changing some line combos,Handzus has done very little. The Leafs seem to play way more physical at home.Take care, enjoy the game.

Yaaaaaaaaaay Leafs! Way ta go boys!
Coupla weak penalties called on each team but overall a very satisfying victory.
I have to admit that i am pretty impressed with the play of Domi. He recieved third star and deservedly so. He had a number of scoring chances never mind the regular crashing and banging Domi is noted for. Well done Tia.
McCabe must have gave Leaf fans fits when he gave the puck away. --- Kev

Good game from top to bottom - with the exception of that bad giveaway by McCabe, which was really just a fluke.
The Flyers looked pretty sleepy through much of both of the last two games.
I expect things will change back in Philadelphia, but they can't be happy with the effort from ANYBODY.
As of right now, I'll stick with my original prediction - Leafs in six. Urk ......
I agree ranger, Philly played a tough game 3 but tonight even though they had some good periods of offence they weren't the smash em crash em team that they usually are.
With all the penalties they ahem seem to be playing like the leafs sometimes do (taking bad penalties).
GO LEAFS GO!!

Good win for your leafs.Out played the Flyers again.Back to Philly Sunday, momentum seems to be in Torontos favor.Sundin seems to be playing well, Belfour very good.Is that the same blonde gal i saw the other night as the Flyers leave?Nice Take care.

I'm not sure if that was the same gal or not - I was wondering the same thing. ;)
It's hard to really build any momentum in a seven game series. Philly may come out hot as hell in Game Five, and the Leafs back to sleepy-time.
This may be a home-cookin' series, which doesn't favour the Leafs.

Leafs played well tonight. The beginning of the first period looked weak, but their play improved throughout the night. I'm not sure if this was on TV or not (I was at the game) but Domi made a brilliant play on Sundin's second goal. Mats was coming down the side and Domi moved to the middle where he totally took out the oncoming defender leaving Mats with a clean shot at the net. I also sensed that Domi was out there more, but I haven't seen the stats yet.
Well done Leafs to even up the series. Let's see how the next couple of games pan out. Philly will be tough to beat in the next game - that's for sure!

Great game, and whole new series now. Philly played much better, yet lose by another 3-1.
Many Flyers seem tired, and lacking emotion - like JR
I thought Philly would come out flying, but they quietly did nothing.
Either way, never dreamed Toronto would come back for a 2-2 series tie. Well done. I'm blown away by surprising Domi and Kilger. Who would have thought?
Leetch continues to amaze me. McCabe some shakey moments, seems to rely on Leetch sometimes.
Kaberle - whats with all the shots? I love it! Berg was also much more physical.. I love it too.
Like seeing Mogilny continue to hit also.
Hope Toronto can steal the afternoon one Sunday and put the pressure on the Flyers. Get healthy Joe and Owen!

I was sceptical about the Leafs' chances but after tonight, perhaps there is a blue light at the end of the tunnel.

one thing is certain, Mats ate his chunky soup tonight! :)
LOL @ chunky soup, I forgot about those commercials!
Yes, well, Mats has put on the blades and is poring it on these days. A few times in previous series it almost seemed like he really wasn't giving it his all but this year? well last night was a prime night for him......
Less hitting than the other night and even though there was a few times philly had them hemmed in, they also played a great defensive game and helped balfour by clearing rebounds etc.
I am hoping they keep up the pressure and take the next one in Philly, if they take that one, philly is gone.....it almost looks like they are done in NOW!

Don't write off Philly. The series is tied - it's now a best of three, with two of the games in their home arena.
I'll still call Leafs in six.

Great game by the Leafs....if they can play like that more often, they have a pretty good shot at the cup......of course, there is Tampa Bay waiting.......but I'd like to see the Leafs win....they've been waiting too long, management has put together a very exciting and fun team to watch......and due to their age....its this year or..........not for a while.

The next game in Philly (on Sunday?) will be a good one. But I have every confidence that it will feature a vastly improved Philly team. Momentum is with the Leafs but they'd better watch out and play a really good road game. I believe that the Leafs can pull it off and win in six if they can avoid lacklustre play / stupid penalties in the next game.
