Hello Fred,
Just a quick question. Is there anyway of making the Avatars 100x100 like ER? Or is the reason for the smaller ones to save space, and speed up pages? I found that the ones in ER are easier to see, and some people have some very funny ones.

The Avatar project is on hold here until further notice - you can't really do any changes to them at the moment. The size of the Avatar is up to the Webmaster - I can check with Mike but likely there will be no changes until we do further upgrades to the board software.
The idea here it to speed up loading - also as you may have noticed, we receive substantially more postings here than the ER and consequently more demands on the server.

Thanks Fred.
To me, the site loads very fast, and I don't recall the last time it was down. Overall it looks great now. As for this site getting more traffic, well, when I see posts getting over 2000 views I would not doubt you for a sec.
Thanks for the response

Now that you've upgraded the board software.

I wonder what the record is for the longest time span for a bump? Or at least a relevant one, not just a plea for attention.

Well I didn't want to start a new thread on avatars when we had this perfectly good and still active old one. And with new board software, there might be a chance.
