You can be one too.

Imagine the thrill you will give your next SP when she knows she has served a man of the cloth.

Heh.
Then you could call TERB your church, Fred. Tax free status! Cult like following! High priestesses! Vestal virgin sacrifices! We could all claim that we're entitled to work/partake of this hobby as a religious right! TERB party days as religious holidays ('can't work today, boss - It's the feast of St. Streetwalker, and I have to buy the communion condoms')! Whee!
Hey, it worked for the Church of the Sub-Genius (http://www.subgenius.com/) - why not TERB?

ps: can I be in charge of the Inquisition?

It would be nice not to pay taxes. Also in case of LE interference in our "church activities" we could always claim religious persecution and take LE to the OHRC...
Hmmm, now you got me thinking. :)

Well, it's not like their isn't a historical precedence for Sp work as a component of organized religion ...

Mind you, it's not worked for the Rastas, but it's worth a shot :)

"Ah yes!" says the SP! "The thrill of the sermon! I remember it well!"
"Cum unto me all you lost souls and Jezebels! My staff shall comfort thee! No more shall thee suffer the oneness of self gratification! Lay with me but for these few meagre dinari, and thou shall know heaven!"
God! Who knows? It might work!

This is not new; ULC was around 20+ years ago when I paid $5 to become "ordained" in California. As a tennis player and "minister", my plan was to call my ministry Courtside Chapel and to serve (pun planned) those tennis players throughout the world who went to play each Sabbath rather than to their regular house of worship.
I was to hold services adjacent to court one wherever the Spirit would take me. It was fun to theorize; I just emailed ULC to inquire (enquire?) as to the status of my prior ordination. Stay tuned.
As to the tax dodge notion, it applies only to ministerial incocme and expenses. Other income is taxed normally. Sorry about that.

If I become ordained.. can I give myself a tax receipt when I donate 10% of my annual earnings to myself???
What other ways can I benefit (financially) by becoming ordained?
Has anyone else done this?

BBW Morgan wants to be in charge of the inquisition.
Ambititious strumpet, isn't she?
Surely, our very own Cardinal Fang has this job. Does it well, too.
