Dance Clubs

Hey,

I've been going to dance clubs in Toronto since I moved out here in October and I usually have a great time... I love to dance and Toronto has a great club scene.

Actually last night I was at the Docks and I saw one of the hottest dancers from the Rail there, grinding with another girl who was just as hot... it totally blew my mind.

Anyway getting to the reason I'm posting this... I prefer progressive house and techno music to dance to, but the best clubs for that are not usually the best places to meet women... (and since I gave up the hobby meeting women "in the wild" has become much more important to me ;-)

Does anyone here know which clubs in Toronto are best for meeting people... It would probably be those dance/hip-hop type places... which I don't really care for, but I'm willing to give them a chance.

I really appreciate your advise here... and if any of you have other questions about the dance clubs in Toronto, post them and I'll try to help you out.

If you like the girls a bit younger i.e. early 20s. My Apartment is a great place, specially on a Thurs and Fri night. $7 cover but drinks are $2 all night. They have a dance floor, but it is not strictly a dance club. Music is all types, rock, r&b, house, dance etc.. Gets packed with a univeristy crowd and also some of the after work crowd. It is on Peter Street, just north of King

theres lots of dance clubs(meat markets) downtown!,when I was in my early 20's I worked at The Big Bop and The Pheonix,I dont think it really matters which club you venture to downtown.The Whiskey Saigon is another good place to meet ladies.Indian motorcycle club is another great place to meet woman!In the west end ,missassuaga Club 107/108 at Dixie and Eglington can be fun with cheap drinks!!!Andy Frost dj's on Fridays(107) which is alternative night and Saturdays is dance night (108)

Usually go to Casino lounge/Indian and 606 .... just found out at work there is a new after hours club called Film I believe. Supposed to be line up till 4 or 5 in the morning and heard a lot of dancers from the closer SC go there after their shift is over. Probably check it out this w/e and will let you know.

I quit clubbing about 2 years ago because I'm too damn old, but I used to go out to all the clubs. For shear high pick ups, we used to get more girls at Limelight (way more) than at any other club. A little grungy and common, but seems to have little attitude and lots of 905 girls.
