How about "tits" then? Is that an improvement? I've always thought that the word "titties" was a bit more playful!

That in and of itself is another interesting topic. It seems most women prefer to use the word "boobs" when referring to breasts. "Boobs" seems to be a word more descriptive of shape while tits seems more descriptive of function. What intrigues me, though, is I always perk right up when I hear the words "breasts', "tits", "jugs", "cans" but the mention of boobs leaves me limp. Somehow the word "boobs" seems too antiseptic and thus asexual. I wonder if it's because it's used by women all the time?
