I think they got him within the first 48hrs of 9/11 happening. Since then, the US has just been working on expanding their territory ( getting a few acres for every Taliban by the UN ) in the middle east, and tweeking some new weapons.

I have it on good authority that they will never catch him. He was out of Afghanistan within 48 hrs of 9/11. He is currently working as a bouncer at I Don't Knows in Etobicoke. Since the place is not frequented, except by transients and low-life (I've been there once, that was enough), his anonymity will keep him safe.

Either that, or he is a cab driver in Winnipeg.

I personally don't think they've got him yet and as long as the US keeps trying (even if bush doesn't get re-elected) they will get him eventually. The world really isn't that big SOMEONE will turn him in, probably one of those true believers who doesn't give a rat's ass about paradise after he's dead....he wants it NOW (and he can have it with the reward money).
