Just wanted talk about a show called Jackass. I downloaded a couple clips of it on WinMx and got hooked. It took me a few days, but I now have all three seasons ( 8,8,9 episodes) fully complete. I also came across something called CKY (Camp Kill yourself) There were three of these made and each are 45min long. CYK was where Jackass evolved from. Some of its cast are in Jackass.

I know this type of humour is not for everyone, and in fact some may hate it. This would probably explain why MTV will no longer run the show. I'm not going to get into is the show right or wrong, I just wanted to say I loved it. Some of what they do on the show is rude. Other things are crazy stunts, and skits. If you like things silly, and people getting hurt, download a couple episodes from WinMx (http://www.winmx.com) and give it a shot.

Hi Kathleen,

I have seen Jackass a couple of times and agree with you - it is hilarious. For me the funniest part is listening to all the guys laughing and mocking in the background while one of their friends writhes around in pain....

Are the Camp Killyourself episodes also available on the web?

Jackass is a riot. For the Jackass fans out there, MTV is still showing them every night at 11pm ( Al ittle past my bedtime, but i laugh myself to sleep), but alas Johnny Knoxville has given it up. On to bigger and better things apparently. One of the reason he is giving it up is because one of the last episode his girlfriend (at the time) Stephine broke her back and pelvis during one of the skits. She is OK, but it was something that scared him.

One of the best episode is when he sat in a "Johnny-on-the-spot" sealed the door and turned it upside with a forklift while he was inside. He came out covered in....... well, you know.
Or the time when Steve-O pierced his butt cheeks together.

Maybe the least mentally stimulating shows I have ever seen, but everyone needs a guilty pleasure.

I'm Outta Here,
Trent

My favorite episode is the one in which Steve-O does the ‘Jellyfish Yamika’ (sp?). Funniest thing I have ever seen! Steve-O has this set of tapes that are unreal. He lights himself on fire, jumps off a three story building into a pool, etc.

There is another couple of tapes you kids might enjoy. They are called the Whiskey Video’s. The star is a professional snow-boarder named Boozy the Clown. He smashes bottles on his head, rides a dirt bike through a grocery store and ends one episode by doing a backflip off a hotel marquis. It looks like about 25 feet in the air. He breaks both his ankles. I couldn’t stop laughing!

WinMX is a great site. I download from there quite a bit. I haven't seen the show you're referring to, but judging from all the positive feedback, I'll definitely check it out.

I was a little worried about making mention of liking Jackass. I thought the thread would be blown down for how bad an influence it is, or that few others would share in my sense of humour. Group, thanks.

colt, Yes, if you goto WinMx (http://www.winmx.com) enter CKY ( under videos) you will get tons of results.
Again, I have all three seasons totally complete of Jackass, and all three episodes of CKY ( much more graphic then Jackass)

I'm so happy that everyone is sharing their favorite clips, that I'll share mine.

My favorite characters are
1)Johnny Knoxville
2)Bam Margera
3)Chris Pontius

My favorite clips are
- When Johnny puts an electric dog collar on Preston and zaps him
- When "partyboy" stips at a stereo shop
- I also love the BMX joust.

In case your wondering what in the world "Jackass" is, or want more info, pls follow this link.Jackass info (http://www.bigbadphil.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/how.htm) . The links at the top will help.

Actually, from an article I read, a primary reason the show was taken off the air was because MTV & the show's producers were getting sued left and right. A lot of (not so swift) kids were getting serious hurt trying to mimic the stunts on the show.

That type of humor isn't my cup of tea, but variety is what makes the world go around :) Glad you're enjoying it...

WhaWhaWha Thanks for the cool link. Never seen that before.

Sir Lancelot I heard the same thing about the kids, and people being sued. Par for the course. Shame the show can't continue.
